Blog Journal 10
I would like to teach either high school or college level
history. I believe I’ll use surveys within my classroom to set dates for
important assignments and tests that work best for my students. Many times,
students become bogged with work one week and have none the next week, so I
would like to democratically decide the best times for tests and major
assignments amidst my students. I would also like my students to conduct
surveys for group projects to decide how best to organize their project (i.e.
see what other students know on a topic, so best to address what the students
know the least).
I found it interesting that other students have had similar
struggles in this course as me. I won’t note names, but others have struggled
with Twitter like me. I also enjoyed reviewing the designs and layouts of the
websites created by other students. Some had similar layouts as me, but others
were somewhat remarkably different.
Next, I would like to learn to use other Microsoft Office
tools like OneNote. To achieve this, I will watch videos showing off the features
and use OneNote in class. Perhaps, I’ll also explore the resource by making
mock notes and trying out the features. I would also like to work with another,
so we can learn collaboratively. Working together can keep interest up and we
can help one another learn by constructive criticism and informing each other
about features.
